Thank you to everyone who joined our Monthly Momentum Call!

Some of the key themes we explored this month:

  • Prioritizing and Leaving Breadcrumbs: When faced with constraints that limit our ability to do projects, consider which projects to focus on, and which to delay or drop altogether.

  • The Process of Deinstitutionalization and New Routines: Transitioning out of a structured environment into one where you control your own time.

  • Considering Your Routines When Planning: How much of your available time, energy, and attention do those routines take up, and how do they affect your capacity to take on the no-more-than five projects?

  • Community Engagement: and how often to reach out to your clients to keep them interested, particularly when you'll have a time gap between major offerings?

  • Groups vs. Teams: Small teams of 3-8 can be self-managing, but larger groups require steering and coordination. Team is the unit where work gets done.

  • Linking the Team with a Traditional Hierarchy: Focus on engaging a friendly champion first. Focus on team outcomes first, before process.

We hope to see you for one of our November community calls as we explore how to navigate November's compressed timeline without sacrificing what matters most.
