Happy 2 Day to those who celebrate. Turns out the iPhone is an officially supported accessory.

GameChat is a new for Nintendo's latest game console, allowing gamers to play together while all through the system.

Nintendo sells an official Switch 2 that connects using USB-C, but the console supports standard USB-C webcams as well.

Apple has been treating the iPhone as a webcam for the for a while now, and it looks like Nintendo is doing the same with the Switch 2.

This configuration relies on an HDMI to USB-C cable and an HDMI capture cable between the iPhone and the Switch 2. If you already have those in your inventory, it could make for a nice alternative to traveling with a dedicated Switch 2 camera.
