Samsung Unpacked date officially confirmed, four Galaxy S25 phones incoming

Samsung is hosting its next Unpacked event on January 22. The teaser showcases four devices next to each other, practically confirming we will see four Galaxy S25 smartphones in 15 days.

The phones in question should be Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra and a brand new Galaxy S25 Slim.

The event will start at 6 PM UTC, which is 1 PM ET, 7 PM CET, 11:30 PM IST. The Galaxy S25 and S25+ will be pretty similar, with the Plus only having a bigger screen and battery, while the Ultra will ditch the pointy corners and come with a more oval shape while retaining the S Pen and the Ultra specifications.

The Slim is reportedly coming with a 6.66″ screen, a rear setup consisting of 200 MP main, 50 MP ultrawide and 50 MP telephoto cameras. It will have a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a 5,000 mAh battery.

These features sound impressive for a flagship smartphone, but as the name suggests, it will be a thinner, lighter handset, likely missing on some extra features like wireless charging and periscope lens for the telephoto cam.

We know that Samsung, Qualcomm, and Google are quietly working on a new version of Android for XR devices called Android XR, but we haven’t yet learned how Android on XR devices will integrate with Android on mobile devices.
