2025 is here from Tuesday, July 8 to Friday, July 11, and Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product , comparisons, and price-tracking tools.

This Prime Day has been surprisingly generous with deals on Nintendo games, but if you prefer to play or PlayStation, don't worry—bargains are actually even more plentiful for these platforms, whether you're looking for mainstays like Elden Ring or recent hits like Black Myth: Wukong.

The catch is that, even for multiplatform games, some deals may not be available on your console of choice. Or, for games like Alan Wake 2 Deluxe Edition, a discount could be bigger on one platform than another. These offers could change as stock adjusts, but for now, I've put the platforms with deals in them as of time of writing in parentheses.

Still, there's a good amount of variety on offer here. Personally, I've been on a Star Wars kick as of late, so I'll probably pick up Star Wars Outlaws while it's on sale. That's part of the benefit of buying these games at a discount—Star Wars Outlaws launched in a much different state, and I think I'll enjoy it more now that's it had some time to cook.

Then there is a game like Split Fiction, which I've tried on the Nintendo , but am dying to play on a system with better graphics. Deals like this present a great opportunity to cure your buyer's remorse by swapping to a version you might enjoy more, assuming you have the to support it.

Regardless of your reason for , though, you'll find plenty to keep you occupied. There are discounts on RPGs, horror games, platformers, and more, so players of all stripes should be able to find something they like this Prime Day.

Looking for something else? Retailers like Walmart, Best Buy, and Depot have Prime Day competition sales that are especially useful if you don't have Prime.

  • Walmart's Prime Day competition sale begins at midnight on July 8 and will include deals up to 50% off. It's an especially good option if you have Walmart+.

  • Best Buy's Prime Day competition sale, “Black Friday in July,” runs through Sunday, July 13 and has some of the sales online. It's an especially good option if you're a My Best Buy “Plus” or “Total” member.

  • Home Depot extended its 4th of July sale through at least July 9, competing with some amazing deals of its own. It's an especially good option if you're looking for power tools, appliances, or outdoor equipment.
