A couple of days ago a rumor tipped the pricing for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7, and spoiler alert – it will be the same as for their predecessors. Whether that’s good news or bad news depends on your perspective, of course – on one hand, price hikes have been looming a lot in recent years with all the inflation, on the other hand, we’ve been promised cheaper foldables and that’s never happened.

Today the same source brings us the rumored memory and storage versions for Samsung’s next foldable duo, along with an intriguing detail regarding the Fold7: this will allegedly be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite across the world. It will be available with 12GB of RAM only, and with 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB of storage. So, if this pans out, the Fold7 will have exactly the same amount of RAM and storage options as the Fold6.

Moving on to the Flip7, this has been rumored multiple times to come with Samsung’s Exynos 2500 SoC, at least in some markets if not everywhere. Today’s rumor does not contradict this, so it looks like we might see a per-model chipset split in Samsung’s foldable line for the first time.

The Flip7 will also have 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage. The Flip6 was offered with 128GB in some markets, and that version may be going away this year.
